Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Group 'C' and Erstwhile Group 'D' posts against Scouts and Guides Quota in Central Railway for the Year 2016-2017. The Online registration open from 6th January 2017 and close on 20th January 2017.

Group 'C' -> UR - 18 to 29 Years; OBC - 18 to 32 Years, SC / ST - 18 to 34 Years
Erstwhile Group 'D' -> UR - 18 to 32 Years; OBC - 18 to 35 Years, SC / ST - 18 to 37 Years
Educational Qualification:
Group 'C' -> Passed 10 + 02 examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognised Board, affiliated to COBSE/ India or its equivalent. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/ Post Graduation etc from a Recognised University.
Erstwhile Group 'D' -> Passed 10 examination from a recognised Board, affiliated to COBSE/ India OR passed ITI (in trades approved by the NCVT) OR Equivalent from the recognised Educational Board.
Scouts and Guides Qualifications:
(1) President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section;
(2) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years i.e. 2011-12 onwards. and
(3) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railway's level AND Two events at State level.

Examination Fee: A Non-refundable fee of ₹ 500/- for General and OBC category candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disability/ Women/ Minorities and Economically Backward Class. The Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway.
Selection Process: Written Test, Scouting Skill Assessment, Marks on Certificates
